Warning notices:
-
Keep away from other metals! Stainless steel should never be brought into direct contact with other metals, or in their immediate vicinity, because contact corrosion or cross-contamination can occur. Contact corrosion and cross-contamination can weaken the metals concerned and impair the stainless steel's non-corrosive properties. In the long term, complete material failure cannot be ruled out.
-
Risk of rust! This stainless steel has only a low resistance to chemicals and acids in particular. For this reason, we advise against using it in aggressive environments, as this could damage the corrosion protection and lead to material failure. For example, use near pools, in cities with high levels of air pollution and in places in the immediate vicinity of the sea is not recommended!
-
Follow the care instructions! Please follow the care instructions for the product. If not handled correctly, the stainless steel may lose its rustproof properties.
Assembly instructions:
Please note that you will need a suitable stainless steel adhesive for installation. The end cap can only be securely attached to the pipe with the aid of stainless steel adhesive.
- First deburr the inside of the pipe. This will ensure that the end cap can be inserted easily in the subsequent steps.
- Now apply a sufficient amount of stainless steel adhesive to the inside of the pipe. By applying the adhesive to the inside of the pipe instead of the end cap, you prevent excess adhesive from oozing out when inserting the end cap.
- Insert the end cap into the end of the pipe as far as it will go and make sure that it is aligned as required.
- Wait until the stainless steel adhesive has completely hardened.
Care instructions:
Stainless steel must be cleaned and maintained at regular intervals. If this care is not carried out, the material may lose its non-corroding properties. You can use commercially available, non-acidic cleaning agents for cleaning. Please also note that the occurrence of occasional flash rust cannot be ruled out. Flash rust should be removed as quickly as possible to avoid any material damage.
