Warning notices:
-
Keep away from other metals! Stainless steel should never be brought into direct contact with other metals, or in their immediate vicinity, because contact corrosion or cross-contamination can occur. Contact corrosion and cross-contamination can weaken the metals concerned and impair the stainless steel's non-corrosive properties. In the long term, complete material failure cannot be ruled out.
-
Risk of rust! This stainless steel has only a low resistance to chemicals and acids in particular. For this reason, we advise against using it in aggressive environments, as this could damage the corrosion protection and lead to material failure. For example, use near pools, in cities with high levels of air pollution and in places in the immediate vicinity of the sea is not recommended!
-
Follow the care instructions! Please follow the care instructions for the product. If not handled correctly, the stainless steel may lose its rustproof properties.
Assembly instructions:
Please note that the end cap must be driven into the pipe with force. To avoid damaging the surface of the end cap, please use a plastic hammer.
- First deburr the inside of the pipe to make the following steps easier.
- Then push the cap into the pipe until you feel resistance. If you now apply slight pressure, you can fix the end cap so that you do not have to hold it firmly to drive it in with the hammer. This also ensures that the cap is correctly aligned and prevents it from becoming wedged during the subsequent steps.
- Use a plastic hammer to drive the end cap into the end of the pipe. Avoid wedging the component by hitting the center of the cap.
Care instructions:
Stainless steel must be cleaned and maintained at regular intervals. If this care is not carried out, the material may lose its non-corroding properties. You can use commercially available, non-acidic cleaning agents for cleaning. Please also note that the occurrence of occasional flash rust cannot be ruled out. Flash rust should be removed as quickly as possible to prevent any damage to the material.
