The post adapter or the screw-on end cap for 42.4×2mm posts is a functional solution for modern railing and handrail construction. The component is attached to a stainless steel post with Ø42.4×2mm as an end and also serves as an adapter for holding a 12mm round steel or of a handrail support. As a result, it combines clean design with a clear technical function. Manufactured from stainless and polished V2A stainless steel, the post adapter impresses with its high corrosion resistance, stability and durable surface. It is suitable for permanent indoor and outdoor use and can easily withstand weather-related stresses.
Installation is carried out by simply plugging the adapter into the post. For a permanently strong connection, the adapter should also be glued into the post with a stainless steel adhesive. The 12 mm round steel or handrail support is inserted from above and securely fixed with two grub screws, creating a stable, backlash-free and visually clean attachment.
The post adapter can also be used purely as an end cap for the handrail. The integrated 12 mm holder allows a 12 mm crossbar to be inserted, which can be used to create special design accents on the railing. This enables individual design solutions and gives the handrail a high-quality, modern look.
