Warning notices:
-
Keep away from other metals! Stainless steel should never be brought into direct contact with other metals, or in their immediate vicinity, because contact corrosion or cross-contamination can occur. Contact corrosion and cross-contamination can weaken the metals concerned and impair the stainless steel's non-corrosive properties. In the long term, complete material failure cannot be ruled out.
-
Risk of rust! This stainless steel has only a low resistance to chemicals and acids in particular. For this reason, we advise against using it in aggressive environments, as this could damage the corrosion protection and lead to material failure. For example, use near pools, in cities with high levels of air pollution and in places in the immediate vicinity of the sea is not recommended!
-
Follow the care instructions! Please follow the care instructions for the product. If not handled correctly, the stainless steel may lose its rustproof properties.
Assembly instructions:
- Make sure that the ends of the pipes to be connected are properly deburred. pipes that are not deburred not only cause injuries, but can also make it more difficult to install the pipe connector.
- (Optional) To achieve a permanent connection between the pipe and the connector, please coat the first piece of the inside of the pipe with a suitable stainless steel adhesive.
- Push one side of the connector into the pipe as far as it will go.
- (Optional) Coat the front inside of the second pipe with the stainless steel adhesive.
- Slide the second pipe onto the connector as far as it will go.
Adjust the angle:
To adjust the angle of the pipe connector, proceed as follows.
- Loosen the screw in the middle of the connector until the connector halves can be moved freely.
- Set the desired angle.
- Tighten the screw in the middle of the connector to lock the set angle.
Care instructions:
Stainless steel must be cleaned and maintained at regular intervals. If this care is not carried out, the material may lose its rustproof properties. Commercially available, non-acidic cleaning agents can be used for cleaning. Please also note that the occurrence of occasional flash rust cannot be ruled out. Flash rust should be removed as quickly as possible to avoid any damage to the material.
