Straight handrail for round tubes as set
The stainless steel handrail carrier has been specially designed for mounting on armours, walls or comparable structures and is therefore a good choice for armouring handrails. The surface is ground and gives a noble, high-quality impression and does not require paint or varnish due to the corrosion resistance of the stainless steel. The rounded handrail saddle, i.e. the support surface for the 42.4mm handrail tube, has two 6.5mm holes through which the tube can be connected to the carrier. For this purpose you can use either rivets or, as we recommend, M6 screws. In the 5mm thick base plate there are three 5.5mm holes with depressions that are ideal for mounting with 5 countersunk head screws.
Screwed design
The handrail carrier, sometimes also known as a tube support, consists of several parts which are illustrated with one another. In this way, it obtains an incomparable variety, since handrail saddles and foot plate can be temporarily removed and the assembly on a base or attic is considerably facilitated in this way. The system consists of a total of five parts: handrail saddle, round steel, footplate, two times M6x12 counterhead screw.
Also suitable for wooden handrails
Since the carrier is screwed to the handrail, it is of course also possible to select a wooden handrail instead of the handrail tube. This can then be easily fixed to the handrail holder with the corresponding screws.
