Stainless steel handrail 1.4301 in grain 240 ground 33,7x2mm with angled wall brackets and cover rosettes.

Depending on the length, the number of brackets on the handrail changes in order to be able to achieve a high level of stability. The following numbers of brackets are provided for the respective length ranges:

Handrail length 500 to 2000mm	2 holders
Handrail length 2100 to 3400mm	3 holders
Handrail length 3500 to 4800mm	4 holders
Handrail length 4900 to 6000mm	5 holders

Processing and assembly

The brackets of the handrail are firmly welded. The first holder is mounted at a distance of 125mm from the end of the tube. The remaining brackets are then evenly distributed over the rest of the handrail. The screws and dowels required for assembly are included in the delivery, three dowels and three screws for each holder. The end caps are already pre-assembled. If you need the end caps loose with the handrail, please note this in your order.

Risk of rust! The handrail is only slightly resistant to chemicals and acids in particular. For this reason, we must advise against using it in aggressive environments, as it damages the corrosion protection and could lead to material failure. For example, it is not recommended for use near pools, in cities with high levels of air pollution or in places in the immediate vicinity of the sea!

Installation instructions:

We recommend that the handrail is installed by two people, as installing it alone involves a considerable amount of extra work. The following instructions describe assembly by two people and can also be carried out by inexperienced people. Please read the instructions carefully and in full before starting installation.

Tool list:

In addition to suitable screws and plugs, you will need the following tools to install the handrail:

Ruler (folding rule) or tape measure
Pencil
Drill
Drill (suitable for the substrate and the selected dowel)
Screwdriver (suitable for the selected screw)

Step by step explanation:

As soon as you have the above-mentioned tools and enough screws and dowels to hand, you can start installing the handrail. Simply follow the steps below and the job will be done in no time.

Find an installation height that is comfortable for you or check the applicable building regulations for any specifications. To find a comfortable height, a second person can hold the handrail against a wall at different heights. Once you have found a height that meets your visual and ergonomic requirements, measure and make a note of the vertical distance from the floor to the underside of the handrail tube. Normally, we recommend a height of 900 mm and will describe the following steps using this measurement. If you have found a different measurement for yourself, please use your own measurement instead.
Have another person hold the handrail against the wall to which it is to be attached.
Align both ends of the handrail with the floor and measure the distance between the floor and the underside of the handrail tube. Move the handrail ends in height until the vertical distance is 900 mm. When installing along a staircase, please measure vertically from the front edge of the steps to the underside of the handrail tube.
Next, carefully lift the cover rosettes of the handrail supports and transfer the holes of all anchor plates to the wall. To do this, simply run your pencil along the inside of the holes so that you draw corresponding circles on your wall.
At this point, the other person can put the handrail to one side.
Now drill holes in the wall in the middle of all the markings. Make sure that the drill bit is always aligned at right angles to the wall surface and follow any instructions provided by the wall plug manufacturer. It is quite common for the manufacturer of the fixing material to specify certain diameters and drill hole depths. These specifications must be adhered to!
If required by the plug manufacturer, clean the drill holes according to the specifications.
Then insert the dowels into all the drill holes and again ensure that all the manufacturer's instructions are followed.
Now have the other person hold the handrail against the wall so that the holes in the handrail supports match the dowels in the wall.
Now screw the screws through the holes in the handrail supports into the wall plugs. Do not tighten the screws yet, however, as this will give you a little leeway for the subsequent screws.
Once you have screwed in all the screws, you can tighten them according to the manufacturer's instructions.
The handrail is now secured to the wall and the other person no longer needs to hold it.
If necessary, you can now move the cover rosettes of all the handrail supports so that they rest against the wall and cover the anchor plates of the handrail supports.

Care instructions:

Please note that the handrail must be cleaned and maintained at regular intervals. If this maintenance is not carried out, or only insufficiently, the material may lose its rust-proof properties. You can use commercially available, non-acidic cleaning agents for cleaning. Please also note that the occurrence of occasional flash rust, especially in outdoor areas, cannot be ruled out. Flash rust should be removed as quickly as possible to avoid any damage to the material.
